Q: How do Argus Tech Tags work?

A: Our Argus Tech Tags compile your pet’s information into an online profile that is easily accessible by scanning the QR code on the tag, tapping the NFC chip with your phone, or by entering the unique URL provided. 


Q: What information can I include in my pet’s profile?

A: The Argus Tech Tag allows you to include:

  • Unlimited contact information such as phone numbers and addresses (which you can hide at any time)

  • General information such as gender, age, and weight

  • Medical information and health provider details

  • Behavioral information


Q: Can I access or edit my pet’s profile without using their Tech Tag?

A: Absolutely! Just log in to your account on the Argus website. 


Q: Do I need a new Argus profile for each of my pets?

A: No! Our system allows you to seamlessly have multiple pets on one Argus profile by simply selecting “Add Pet.”


Q: Are batteries or charging needed for my Tech Tag?

A: No, due to the QR code, NFC chip, and unique URL, no batteries or charging are needed for your Tech Tag to function properly.


Q: Are Argus Tech Tags waterproof?

A: Yes! Our Tech Tags maintain their functionality even if your pet chooses to take a swim.


Q: What happens if my pet’s Tech Tag gets damaged?

A: If your pet’s Tech Tag gets damaged, it may qualify for our lifetime warranty. Check the requirements here before making a claim.
